Carlos A. Alvarado

Carlos A. Alvarado Montero leads Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) Central America Project Management Department. The Project Management service consists of organizing, coordinating, planning, executing and controlling real estate development or improvement projects for NKF´s clients; covering critical processes accordingly to PMI´s best practices and integrating them to the rest of NKF´s specialized services.

Carlos started his career 14 years ago, as a civil engineer in design and construction projects. This led him to acquire technical and functional knowledge of these specialized areas, providing him with problem-solving skills and the proper communication capabilities to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Once he started his PM master’s degree specialization, he began working as PM and continues applying this expertise 11 years later. Carlos has managed all kind of projects (residential, industrial, logistics, offices, retail, energy solutions) in all stages (conceptualization, feasibility, development, design, construction, and facilities). He also has wide net-working capabilities and contacts with experts in all technical areas required in this kind of projects.

Besides PM, Carlos has also worked – in this last 11 years - as General Design Consultant, Technical Inspector, and General Construction Contractor in civil, electromechanical, renewable energy and storage projects.

These assorted knowledge and experience make it easier to visualize and conceptualize projects, allowing Carlos to integrate ideal multidisciplinary teams that optimize processes and achieve project objectives.
